This Old Mary-Tyler-Moore-Inspired Mariners Promo Hits The Nostalgia Cord Pretty Hard

Sadly, actress Mary Tyler Moore (whom you may know from The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Dick Van Dyke Show, or, you know, just being a living person in America) passed away yesterday after complications from pneumonia.

However, at 80 years old, Moore lived a long, successful life and made a great many people smile along the way.

Upon hearing the news, the Seattle Mariners dug up an old promotional video of Freddy Garcia, inspired by the intro to The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and I thought you’d be interested in seeing it:
